WhatsApp in Partnership With WHO Releases 21 New Emojis Stickers On Life in Quarantine

Social media sites like Facebook and instant messaging services like WhatsApp are now our only medium to connect with the outside world. In this desperate time, WhatsApp has been proved to be a blessing for billions of daily WhatsApp users to connect and express with each other. When the world is under the grasp of COVID-19 and everyone is forced to stay indoor to help flatten the curve, it is more important to express ourselves with our close friends, relatives, co-workers, and superior.

To express ourselves better, WhatsApp has partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) to come up with a new set of WhatsApp sticker emojis that express the time we are living in.

WhatsApp is calling this sticker pack “Together at Home;” it symbolizes that we are in this together, and the only way to stop this virus from spreading is by staying home. The sticker pack consists of 20 stickers that accurately depicts the current scenario and stay-at-home mantra.

Man holding laptop WhatsApp emoji

My favorite sticker from this pack is that of a man holding a laptop while wearing a formal shirt with a tie and a short. This perfectly shows the current work from home situation.

Cat sleeping on laptop WhatsApp emoji

There is another sticker that shows a cat sleeping on the laptop. I think it shows how we are spending so much time on our laptop nowadays since we are not allowed to go outside.

Man wearing helmet WhatsApp emoji

There is also a sticker of a person wearing what looks like a helmet astronauts wear. This gives the message of not touching our eyes, nose, or mouth so much.

Doctor super hero WhatsApp emoji

The best sticker, however, is that of a doctor presented as a superhero. This is so true; doctors and other front line workers are the true heroes. They are our only hope in this time of uncertainty.

There are many other interesting stickers available in this ‘Together at Home’ sticker pack. We have an “air high five,” then there is “you are my hero,” soap and handwash sticker, workout sticker, social distancing sticker, and more.
